Life is not a destination. Life is a road we travel. I am grateful to be on this imperfect spiritual journey. From a sailor's sea bag comes experience, strength and hope, along with some flotsam and jetsam.
Mary Magdalene has been a victim of mistaken identity for almost 20 centuries.
Yet she would no doubt insist that it makes no difference.
We are all sinners in need of the saving power of God, whether our sins have been lurid or not.
More importantly, we are all, with her, “unofficial” witnesses of the Resurrection.

The problems in my life are not the situations and conditions that I encounter.
It is how I either respond or react to those situations and conditions that transforms them into problems for me.
