Life is not a destination. Life is a road we travel. I am grateful to be on this imperfect spiritual journey. From a sailor's sea bag comes experience, strength and hope, along with some flotsam and jetsam.
Let me pray with confidence to my all-powerful Lord:
Hear my cry, O Lord.
For those who suffer doubts and fears: grant them your peace.
For those who live in inner and outer turmoil: give them stillness of heart.
For those who travel and work upon the sea: protect them from harm.
For those who have lost their lives at sea: grant them rest and grant their loved ones consolation.
