Life is not a destination. Life is a road we travel. I am grateful to be on this imperfect spiritual journey. From a sailor's sea bag comes experience, strength and hope, along with some flotsam and jetsam.
Where There is Charity and Wisdom
---- St. Francis of Assisi (paraphrased)
Where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance.
Where there is patience and humility, there is neither anger nor annoyance.
Where there is love and joy, there is neither greed nor selfishness.
Where there is peace and meditation, there is neither anxiety nor doubt.

One day at a time.

We cannot direct the wind but we can adjust our sails.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We surrender to win;
we give away to keep;
we suffer to get well;
we die to live.
Know God;
Know Peace
No God;
No Peace
Learn to listen;
Listen to learn.
Rule #62:
Do not take my life or myself too damn seriously.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Resentment is like acid, eating away at the vessel it is stored in.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Serenity is not the absensce of conflict, but the abiltiy to cope with it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pray is neither black magic or is it a form of demand note.
Prayer is a relationship.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lord, take me where you want me to go;
let me meet who you want me to meet;
tell me what you want me to say
and keep me out of your way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The problems in my life are not the situations and conditions that I encounter.
It is how I either respond or react to those situations and conditions that transforms them into problems for me.
