I have to laugh when I look back at the times I treated God like our servant.
Who did I think I was, ordering God to do something for me?
But I got away with it.
God even did some of the things I asked.
Now I know that my God is not a servant.
I don't expect God to work miracles every time I'd like one.
I am asking my God to lead me.
My God has many wonderful gifts for me.
The God of my understanding will show me goals, help me live in love and joy, and give me strength.
