Life is not a destination. Life is a road we travel. I am grateful to be on this imperfect spiritual journey. From a sailor's sea bag comes experience, strength and hope, along with some flotsam and jetsam.
Until we actually sit down and talk aloud
about what we have so long hidden,
our willingness to clean house is still largely theoretical.

it confirms that we have been honest
with ourselves and with God.

It is how I either respond or react to those situations and conditions that transforms them into problems for me.
